Deposit Policy

Payment Details and Deadlines

The security deposit will be paid in one installments. The total amount due for the installment will be calculated at a rate of $2 per unit reserved for the order.
The installment must be paid in full by its deadline, meaning that the full payment due must be received by Highline Nursery on or before the due date listed.

Delivery Deadline

The security deposit paid by the customer secures the order for the specified delivery date or up to 7 days beyond the specified delivery date. If the customer requests to move the delivery more than 7 days past the agreed upon date, this will be treated as a new order and the security deposit for the original order will be forfeit.

Order Selection, Changes, and Reductions

Product selection is subject to availability at the time that the order is placed. Once an order is placed, the inventory for the order will be reserved for the customer until the first deposit installment payment is due, at which time the customer will be required to pay the entire installment balance due to keep the order reserved. If either deposit installment is not received by the required due date, the order will be canceled and the reserved inventory will be made available for sale. Any deposit installments already paid for the order will be forfeit to Highline Nursery.
After the initial security deposit has been paid, a customer wishing to reduce their order size may reduce it by up to 20% of the quantity of units reserved and have the deposit balance from the reduced portion credited toward their order. To receive this credit, the reduction request must be submitted at least 28 days before the delivery date for clone orders or 42 days before the delivery date for teen orders.
Any quantity adjustments within 28 days of delivery for clone orders or 42 days of delivery for teen orders will not be credited or refunded. The portion of the security deposit paid to reserve the reduced units will be forfeit to Highline.
From the date the order was placed until 28 days before delivery for clone orders or 42 days before delivery for teen orders, the customer may swap any cultivar at no penalty if a sufficient quantity of a requested replacement cultivar is available for the planned delivery date. If a customer chooses to swap cultivars within 28 days of delivery for a clone order or within 42 days of delivery for a teen order, this will be treated as a new order and the deposit for the original cuts will be forfeit to Highline Nursery.

Any discount given to the customer for providing a security deposit will be applied in addition to any quantity volume discount to be applied to the order.
All discount amounts pertaining to the security deposit are locked in once the security deposit has been paid. Highline Nursery will not change the discount amount after it has been locked in
